This children's e-book (in German), available at the iBookstore, is one of our fruits harvested during a 4-year-stay in the south of Switzerland, the county of Ticino.
Inspired by the huge garden with trees, spices and vegetables, our guest children by themselves started collecting various 'commodities' and finally asked me to  prepare from nothing a dough in no time.
Finally, the aromatic appetizers were gently baked over the fire on a soap stone. They were just delicious and stimulated us to write this booklet about biodiversity and how it would be to prepare a Ticinese specialty from scratch.

Ironically, while writing this text several diseases attacked our plants used for the Castagnaccio and the recipe had to be adapted in order to overcome the shortfalls induced by global pests.
In essence, the text may mirror some of the future trends awaiting our offsprings.
